The planning and design of this modern cottage dwelling was part of a greater phased project. The adjacent detached accessory dwelling was done years prior, and the goal was to completely re-design the existing home to accommodate changing needs. The existing site is generous with land in a corner lot and the design had to respond and incorporate growing generations while staying true to the existing cottage dwelling.
